~ The Tablet of My Heart is a surprisingly honest and profound account of abuse and healing, including poems excerpted from the journal of a child during the years that she endured sexual abuse. In this book the author takes the reader by the hand and walks them, not only through the darkness of the abuse this young girl fought against, but also into the light that she was able to find in the aftermath. It is deeply moving, taking you from the depths of pain that abuse causes into the freedom from darkness that forgiveness brings. This book captures the heart of the reader and stands to change many lives ~ Anonomys

D.Rose - An epic telling of perseverance and courage rarely heard, both intense and inspirational. I would encourage readers to pass the experience on, by word of mouth, email, the book it itself, in hopes the poetry and story may find their way to a place where a little faith is needed. June 2009
John L Anderson - "Powerful, painful and very challenging, Elizabeth Walkers book is an inspiration, a blessing and a must read. Isn't God wonderful to not allow us to sink below our faith and trust in him." May 2009

Penny Carlson - This book made me laugh, cry, and even get angry at times for the wrongs that were committed. It saddens my heart to think that this goes on every day. It was very well written and I am glad that I read it. Everyone should. Aurora, CO. March 2009
Jeff Fratz - The book is very well written and it gives hope to those who are having a difficult time with the “bumps” and “brick walls” that life WILL throw at you. It shows you no matter what you believe in to make it through the days don't give up on it even if it feels that nothing is working. CO. Feb. 11 2009
Linda Brown - I have to let everyone know that this book is a tremendous and true feelings of what children feel and go through when they are abused. They are scared, depressed, withdrawn from others, they feel like they are the oonly ones out there, and no one is safe to tell. Especially if that abuse comes from a trusted person, such as a family member, friend of the family, etc.. This book touched base with me because I have been there myself. I would recommend this book for all ages. Alot of times when a person has gone through this type of ordeal, they want to block it out of their memories and to be able to read such a book as this may help them to unblock those memories, to release their anger and/or ill feelings, and to help in their healing process. Not to mention it isn't just a book to read but poetry in their hearts! So Thank You, for this book!- Pacific, Mo. Jan. 24 2009

L. Kirk - An Incredible Story of Healing Told through Breathtaking Poetry.
This book is an extremely powerful and intimate look at the struggles of a young girl coming to grips with the reality of abuse and neglect. Her narrative of the events in her young life provides the framework for her unique coping method, creating poetry. The beautiful yet bittersweet poetry that Elizabeth began writing as a child is a testament to her talent and strength. Elizabeth's ability to rebuild her life after the devastating chain of events that started at the tender age of six is incredible. Her capacity for forgiveness of those who wronged her is an inspiration. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to hear an incredible story of healing and lovers of breathtaking poetry alike. - December 2008

Bonny Settle - Lover of books of faith
This was a surprisingly honest and wonderfully unique child's perspective of abuse, it's effects and how she overcame it. Wnderful reading for anyone who has lost their faith, felt unloved, lost thier way or just want to be inspired. God is greatly working in this girl's (woman's) life and she is a very good writer. Heather S. Touching and Beautifully Written.
This book is a true picture into a little girl's heart, and her struggles, and how God carried her through to be a wonderful mom, wife and woman of God. She spills her heart onto these pages through her story and her beautiful poetry. I found it a wonderful and touching story and enjoyed the poetry immensely. It is an extremely strong and encouraging story for people of all ages. Another inspiring thing about this book is that the proceeds will generate financial contributions to Childhelp Foundation, an organization devoted to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. I would encourage you to read and share this book with your family, friends and especially young people who need to hear that they are not alone and they will prevail. My heart was truly touched by this book. Thank you, Heather S. - October 2008
